Tour our industrial shed project for Wagners. This 54m x 103m x 24m custom designed structure was one of the most logistically complex projects delivered by Clearspan in our 40-year history and is testimony to our ability to collaborate with stakeholders when delivering a project.
Due to a deteriorating existing structure, the client required a replacement structure to be built at their Port of Brisbane location. In order to ensure operations could continue throughout the build, Clearspan was engaged to design, fabricate and construct the structural steel over the existing clinker shed which would be removed on completion.
This included:
- Large structure with 30-degree pitch
- Custom designed to fit over the existing building with sufficient clearance
- Fully hot dip galvanized structural steelwork
Close collaboration with key subcontractor Leigh Holt and his team from Holt Cranes, ensured that we could deliver around the site’s complexities. Roof sections were built on ground, lifted and moved into place with multiple cranes over the existing building due to limited access.
Working closely with their on-site team to ensure limited disruption to their operations, Clearspan was able to work with long standing client Wagners, to successfully deliver this highly complex project.
